Distinguished scholars hold meeting with SMIU’s Vice Chancellor

Noted scholars, authors and educationists Mr. Aijaz Qureshi and Mr. Mukhtiar Ahmed Mallah held a meeting with Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai, Vice Chancellor of Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) on Tuesday at his office. In the meeting it was decided that the SMIU will publish books penned down by Mr. Aijaz Qureshi and Mr. Mukhtiar Ahmed Mallah on the life and struggle of Khan Bahadur Hassanally Effendi, founder of Sindh Madressatul Islam and the history of Sindh Madressatul Islam University.
The above mentioned scholars handed over manuscripts of the said books to the vice chancellor. Mr. Mukhtiar Ahmed Mallah also presented copies of his books to Dr. Sahrai, which are published recently on D.J. College and importance of translations. In the meeting Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai praised their research work and said that they are selflessly contributing a lot towards history, education, great personalities and institutions of the land that will benefit our younger generation. He said SMIU is also going to publish English translation of the biography of Khan Bahadur Hassanally Effendi by Mirza Qaleech Baig in the coming month of April.
