Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that accusing the Sindh government for political point scoring during the budget session has become a routine habit of Hafiz Naeem. His remarks about “Nura Kushti” are, in fact, a reflection of his own political irrelevance.
Reacting to the statement of the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the Sindh government has always given top priority to the education sector. He added that no government in history has taken as many concrete steps for the improvement of education and healthcare as the Pakistan Peoples Party has.
He said that the development work being carried out in the sectors of education, health, water, and infrastructure in Sindh is not the result of any Nura Kushti, but a testament to the Pakistan Peoples Party’s consistent commitment to public service. He added that if Hafiz Naeem were genuinely concerned about the state of education in Sindh, he would have questioned why, despite the 18th Amendment, the federal government has failed to release Sindh’s rightful share of funds on time.
Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that Sindh’s education budget is not just reflected in figures but is evident on the ground through the rehabilitation of schools, recruitment of teachers, and various educational programs. He added that Hafiz Naeem should adopt a constructive approach for the betterment of the people of Sindh instead of indulging in the politics of baseless accusations.
