Frontier Constabulary Reorganization Ordinance 2025, termed worst form of Fascism

Hyderabad In a joint press statement, the central president of Awami Tehreek Advocate Vasand Thari, central general secretary Advocate Sajid Hussain Mahesar, central vice president Sattar Rind, central deputy general secretary Advocate Raheel Bhutto, Dr. Marvi Sindhu and Noor Nabi Palijo said that by signing the Frontier Constabulary Reorganization Ordinance 2025, President Zardari has granted the Frontier Constabulary (FC) the authority to operate across the entire country.
They stated that Asif Zardari, in a bid to safeguard his presidential position, has signed a decree that allows federal forces to take over the powers of the provinces and directly hand them over to the federation, which is in total contradiction to the 18th Constitutional Amendment.
Under this black law signed by President Zardari, the federal government will directly use the Frontier Constabulary to take control of millions of acres of land in Sindh, including Karoonjhar, Keenjhar, Haleji, Gorakh, and the islands. This force will use the power of the gun to seize the resources of the nations and shed the blood of innocent people. The leaders said federal institutions are already excessively interfering in the affairs of the provinces, and now with the passage of this ordinance, the federation has received legal justification for such actions.
They added that instead of increasing federal interference in the provinces, reforms should be introduced in the provincial police force, rooting out bribery, extortion, and corruption. Corrupt police officers should be dismissed from service, and the police should be freed from the control of feudal lords, chieftains, and so-called elected representatives, placing it under the authority of the Constitution and law. Furthermore, police salaries and allowances should be increased.
The leaders emphasized that the coalition government has no mandate to assassinate democracy. Its centralist legislation is the murder of democracy. By turning its back on the principles of Quaid-e-Azam, the coalition government is following in the footsteps of centralists like Sardar Patel. This type of legislation by the federal government reflects the worst form of fascism.
