The Sindh government has decided to issue Benazir Hari Cards to hundreds of thousands of newly registered farmers. Additionally, subsidies will be provided to farmers for converting drip irrigation systems to solar panels.

According to Agriculture Minister Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar, registration and verification of 80,000 new farmers in Sindh has been completed. Sindh Bank will issue 50,000 cards in the last week of this month, followed by another 50,000 cards every 20 days. Through the Hari Card, farmers will receive subsidies and financial assistance.

Minister Mahar further stated that the Sindh government has also decided to subsidize farmers for shifting drip irrigation systems to solar panels.
