Provincial Health Secretary Rehan Iqbal Baloch paid a visit to the Civil Hospital Naushahro Feroze today, where he inaugurated the newly renovated Emergency Ward during an official inspection.

He was accompanied by District Health Officer Dr. Ghulam Qadir Chandio, Civil Surgeon Dr. Mubeen Ahmed Rajput, District In-Charge Rescue 1122, and other concerned officials.

During the visit, the Health Secretary inspected various sections of the hospital, including the Emergency Ward, CCU, OPD, Eye Ward, General Ward, Children’s Ward, and Dialysis Center, and appreciated the efforts of the hospital administration for improving healthcare services and infrastructure.

Mr. Baloch directed the management to further improve cleanliness and hygiene standards across the hospital and ensure the uninterrupted provision of essential medicines to patients through government facilities.

Speaking to the media, the Health Secretary said that the Civil Hospital Naushahro Feroze has yet to be upgraded to District Hospital status, which poses several administrative and operational challenges. He noted that a number of doctors are currently pursuing advanced medical courses in other cities, resulting in a temporary shortage of staff, but assured that the shortage will soon be addressed through new recruitments.
