Shahina Sher Ali distributed certificates and sewing machines among students who completed beautician, mehndi, stitching, and IT courses
Sindh’s Provincial Minister for Women Development, Shahina Sher Ali, stated that the Sindh government is taking practical steps at every level to empower women. She emphasized that quality education, training, and skill development are the foundation of women’s economic independence. She assured full support to institutions working for vocational education of girls and women.
She expressed these views while attending and addressing a special award distribution ceremony held at the Vocational Training Institute in Lyari, organized by the Kachhi Kumbhar Khidmat-e-Khalq Welfare Association. The event was attended by Lyari Town Chairman Nasir Kareem, Association President Rafiq Mara, Women’s Wing Convener Nosheen Javed, local dignitaries, and a large number of participants.
In her speech, Minister Shahina Sher Ali praised the Welfare Association’s efforts in establishing vocational centers for girls and women, providing technical education, and founding a dedicated Ladies Wing for women’s welfare. She assured the organizers that the Sindh government stands alongside the organization in its initiatives for women’s development and will provide all possible support.
Later, the minister distributed certificates and sewing machines to students who had successfully completed courses in beautician training, mehndi design, stitching, and information technology.
