Nawabshah The three-day official celebrations of the 754th annual Urs of the revered Sufi saint Syed Asghar Ali Shah, popularly known as Sakhi Jam Datar, concluded with a musical evening and Sughar Kacheri. On the final day, the District Administration Shaheed Benazirabad and the Department of Culture organized a Sughar Conference and a musical program attended by Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Division Shahmir Khan Bhutto, DIG Police Faisal Bashir Memon, and Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Nizamani as special guests.
During the event, famous Sindhi singers including Ahmed Mughal, Farzana Bahar, Sufi Singer Faqeer Barkat Jamal, and other local performers received great applause from the audience for their soulful presentations. Sughar Ali Gul Bhatti and other poets also recited classic Nar poetry, adding a traditional charm to the gathering.
The musical event was attended by SSP Shaheed Benazirabad Shabir Ahmed Sethar, Director Information Muhammad Moosa Gondal, Municipal Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Sheikh, Assistant Commissioner Daur Muhammad Zakir, Information Officer Aijaz Ali Teevino, Mukhtiarkar Daur Owais Jatoi, Sajjada Nasheen of the shrine Faqeer Naveed Hussain Vistro, Vice Chairman District Council Abdul Rasool Brohi, Chairman Town Committee Abdullah Shar, Sherbaz Marri, Aijaz Halipoto, Town Officer Muhammad Saleh Zardari, along with officers from various departments, devotees, and a large number of local residents.
