Saluting the Brave: PM and President Praise Forces for Defending the Motherland Against 12 Simultaneous Attacks!

Quetta: Security forces in Balochistan have achieved major successes in ongoing counterterrorism operations, foiling multiple terrorist attacks across the province. According to Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, more than 700 terrorists were neutralized in the province over the past year, while 70 militants were killed in various operations during the last two days.
The Chief Minister stated that terrorists linked to “Fitna-e-Hindustan” attempted to carry out attacks in different areas of Balochistan earlier today. However, timely and coordinated actions by the police, Frontier Corps (FC), and other security agencies successfully thwarted all attempts. He added that 37 more terrorists have been killed in these recent operations.
Chief Minister Bugti emphasized that cowardly attacks cannot weaken the state’s resolve against terrorism. He reiterated that the government will not rest until the last terrorist is eliminated and made it clear that no compromise will be made on peace in Balochistan. Counterterrorism operations will continue until terrorism is completely eradicated.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for thwarting terrorist attacks at 12 locations in Balochistan. He commended their professional capabilities for killing 37 terrorists and a total of 88 Indian-sponsored militants. The Prime Minister paid tribute to 10 security personnel who embraced martyrdom during the operations and offered prayers for the elevation of their ranks and patience for their families.
The Prime Minister said that the entire nation takes pride in its martyrs and acknowledged that security forces are safeguarding the country without regard for their own lives. He reaffirmed that the fight against terrorism will continue until its complete elimination and that the whole nation stands firmly with the armed forces.
President Asif Ali Zardari also lauded the effective operations carried out by security forces against threats to peace in Balochistan. He praised their success in foiling terrorist attacks and paid tribute to the 10 security personnel who were martyred during the operations. The President stressed that there will be no compromise on peace in Balochistan, the protection of citizens, or national unity, and that the state will continue decisive action against externally sponsored hostile elements.
Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also commended the security forces for thwarting terrorist attacks and killing 37 militants. Paying tribute to the martyred personnel, he said their sacrifices will not go in vain and reiterated that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces in the fight against terrorism.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti visited the site of a bomb blast in Quetta to review the security situation. Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, briefed the Chief Minister on the incident. The Chief Minister praised the police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for their swift and effective response, stating that timely action against terrorist elements is commendable and that anti-state elements will not be forgiven under any circumstances.
Separately, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also paid tribute to the security forces for thwarting terrorist attacks in Balochistan, killing 37 terrorists, and honoring the 10 personnel who were martyred while defending the nation. He said the martyred personnel prioritized the defense of the homeland over their own lives, and the nation is indebted to them. He reaffirmed that Pakistan will be cleansed of terrorism at all costs.
