Sindh Education Minister Takes Notice of Complaints Regarding Examination Fees


KARACHI: Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah has taken notice of complaints regarding the collection of examination fees by certain educational boards.

The minister emphasized that education in Sindh is free and no fees or charges under the name of IT services should be collected. He stated that education is recognized as a fundamental right, and from admission to examination stages, all fees have already been abolished.

Syed Sardar Ali Shah directed the Secretary Colleges to coordinate with the Secretary Universities and Boards to ensure strict compliance with the orders. He stressed that no fees of any kind should be collected by the boards under any circumstances.

The minister further instructed college principals to ensure that students are not charged any fees, reaffirming the government’s commitment to free education across the province.
