Crude oil prices in the international market have surged by 13 percent

Crude oil prices in the international market have surged by 13 percent. In the UK, crude oil is now priced at $93.49 per barrel, while in the U.S. West Texas market, the price has reached $91.43 per barrel. The American crude oil price alone rose by $10.55 per barrel in a single day.

Following this sharp increase, unusual crowds of citizens were seen at petrol stations in Lahore. On GT Road near UET, long queues of vehicles formed, disrupting traffic flow. Police personnel arrived at the scene to maintain law and order.

Similar scenes were reported at Model Town Link Road, Iqbal Town, Wahdat Colony, and Multan Road petrol pumps, where long lines of vehicles were observed and supply was reduced at several stations.

Meanwhile, the Islamabad administration has set up a control room for citizens. According to the Deputy Commissioner, in case petrol or diesel is unavailable, citizens should immediately contact the control room. A complaint number has been issued: 051-9108084.
