ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has officially dismissed claims made by the Taliban regime regarding the destruction of a Pakistani military checkpost, labeling the assertions as "entirely baseless and deceptive." In a formal statement issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the government confirmed that no Pakistani military installations or personnel sustained any damage.
The Fact-Check Findings: The Ministry’s Fact-Check wing highlighted several key discrepancies that expose the Afghan Taliban’s propaganda:
Afghan Infrastructure Misidentified: The structure shown in the Taliban’s "Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq" propaganda is actually "Wacha Chinari," an Afghan installation, not a Pakistani post.
Missing Identifiers: The structure in the claim lacks all standard markers of a Pakistani military post, such as the National Flag or proximity to the International Border Fence.
Propaganda vs. Reality: The Ministry clarified that all statements issued by the Taliban regime during their recent operations are merely rhetorical and lack any ground reality.
A Firm Rejection: The Ministry of Information strongly condemned the "malicious and fraudulent" claims, asserting that the Afghan Taliban are attempting to mislead the public through staged footage. Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to border security, stating that all military assets along the frontier remain secure and fully operational.
