The Central President of Awami Tehreek, Advocate Vasand Thari, Central General Secretary Sajid Hussain Mahesar, Vice President Sattar Rind, and Dr. Rasool Bux Khaskheli, in their joint statement, expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Syed Alam Shah, a close associate of the leader of Awami Tehreek Rasool Bux Palijo and martyr Fazil Rahoo, and former Central General Secretary of Awami Tehreek.
The leaders stated that Syed Alam Shah spent a major part of his life struggling for the rights of workers, the poor, and oppressed nations. He endured hardships of imprisonment during the MRD movement. Along with being a leader, Syed Alam Shah was also a sincere worker whose contributions and struggle can never be forgotten.
At the funeral rites of Syed Alam Shah held in Matiari, Awami Tehreek’s Central Senior Vice President Noor Ahmed Katiar, Central Finance Secretary Ali Muhammad Parvez, son of Rasool Bux Palijo and central leader of Awami Tehreek Noor Nabi Palijo, senior leaders Abdul Qadir Qadir Ranto, Aziz Memon, Mir Tagar, Latif Ayaz Memon, and others participated.
