In the Ziarat district, a brutal terrorist attack on a police post in the Mangi Phase-III area has left nine policemen martyred, including two senior officers. The Deputy Commissioner of Ziarat has officially confirmed the casualties."
"According to the Superintendent of Police (SP) Ziarat, the fallen personnel include SHO Mangi Muhammad Hussain and SHO Sohbat Khan.
"The Deputy Commissioner stated that heavily armed terrorists targeted the police post late last night. Law enforcement agencies swiftly retaliated, triggering a fierce gunbattle that lasted throughout the night. The bodies of all nine martyred police personnel have been shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Ziarat for legal formalities."
"Following the attack, a heavy contingent of security forces and police cordoned off the entire locality. A large-scale clearance operation is currently underway to hunt down the fleeing terrorists."
