PM Vows Relentless War on Terror as 54 Militants Killed

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the government's resolve to continue the fight against terrorism, stating that operations will persist until the "last militant" is eliminated.
Speaking on the recent wave of terrorist incidents, the Prime Minister said that several police personnel, soldiers of the Pakistan Army, and civilians embraced martyrdom while defending the country. He paid tribute to the sacrifices of the armed forces, saying their officers and soldiers had rendered unparalleled services and laid down their lives for the nation's security.
Shehbaz Sharif said security forces had killed 54 militants during various operations, describing the actions as a significant success in the ongoing counterterrorism campaign. He maintained that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its brave armed forces in the fight against terrorism.
The Prime Minister alleged that Pakistan's eastern neighbour was involved in sponsoring terrorist activities and claimed that terrorist organisations were being supplied with weapons. He also asserted that militants were using Afghan territory to launch attacks against Pakistan.
Reiterating the commitment of the country's political and military leadership, the Prime Minister said all available resources would be utilised to eradicate terrorism. He added that Pakistan's recent diplomatic achievements and last year's "Battle of Truth" victory had unsettled hostile elements.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed confidence that the country's efforts against terrorism would pave the way for lasting peace, stability, and economic prosperity, adding that Pakistan would soon emerge as a hub of development and progress.
