Karachi A review meeting was held in the department's committee room regarding the ongoing development projects of the department under the chairmanship of Sindh Minister for Minority Affairs Giyan Chand Esrani. The meeting was attended by various officers of the department. Secretary Minority Affairs department briefed about the progress of schemes at Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar, Umarkot, while the relevant sub-engineers provided detailed information about the projects. A huge amount of money is earmarked every year for development and welfare schemes, including schemes for places of worship, scholarships for poor students, dowry, medical aid, relief for victims of natural calamities. Addressing the officers of the department, Minister Minority Affairs said that as government officials, it is your duty to perform with full honesty and diligence so that the problems of the masses can be solved in time.
