Since the fire in Karachi in 2023,
sixteen hundred and a few major incidents have claimed human lives. Five people
lost their lives in a house fire on Wednesday. The worst fire incident of the year
happened in November on Rashid Minhas Road, which was near the bend where the
incident happened. In all cases the question of the phrase fire-safe in
buildings.
In Karachi this year, 1670 incidents of
fire occurred at different places.
The raging flames claimed not only 39 lives,
but also injured 95 people.
On December 6, a fire broke out at Arshi
Shopping Mall near Ayesha Manzil, claiming 5 lives.
The worst fire incident this year took
place on November 25 in a shopping plaza near Johar Mor on Rashid Minhas Road.
Eleven people lost their lives.
Other major fire incidents claimed 1 in
October, 3 in September, 4 in August. Fortunately, there were no fire incidents
in March and July
In the fire incidents in the month of
June, 1 and 6 precious human lives were lost in April. On April 13, a fire in a
factory in New Karachi claimed the lives of 4 firefighters.
In the fire incidents in the city, 2
people lost their lives in February and 5 in January. All the incidents pointed
to the lack of fire safety in the buildings.
