Demonstrations against Hidayat Lohar murder, Larkana police torture and arrest the protesters

In Larkana, the police baton-charged the protest against the killing of
Hidayat Lohar, many Sindhi activists including daughter Sasai were arrested.
For protesting against the killing of Hidayat Lohar in the city of
Larkana, Sindh, the police lathi-charged several people, including male and
female activists, and arrested them and transferred them to the police station.
Protests against the killing of Sindhi nationalist and human rights
activist Hidayat Lohar have been going on across Sindh for the past several
days.
Larkana police arrested women's democratic front leader Comrade Fauzia Sengar,
daughters of deceased Hidayat Lohar and convener of Voice for Missing Persons
of Sindh Sasai and Surath Lohar, along with Amjad Sindhi former
activists, after torturing the protestors.
took The protesters were protesting against the killing of Hidayat Lohar
in front of the press club under the leadership of Sasai Lohar, the citizens
raised slogans against the arrests.
Protests are being held in different cities of Sindh after a sit-in for five
days by the Sindh nationalist parties along with Surath Lohar and Sasi Lohar
against the killing of the father last month and the administration not filing
a case. His family and Sindhi nationalist organizations blame the killing of
Hidayat Lohar on Pakistani forces, while they demand that international
organizations take notice of the incident and demand an investigation from
Pakistan.
