The Pakistan Peoples Party will hold a public meeting in Larkana on April 3 to zealously mark the death anniversary of its founder and former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
This was disclosed by Sindh Local Government Minister, Saeed Ghani while chairing a meeting of the PPP Karachi Division on Tuesday. Ghani is also the PPP Karachi chapter President.
The meeting discussed in detail the public meeting to be held in Larkana on April 3 at 9 pm on the eve of the death anniversary of the PPP’s founder.
Ghani said that all office-bearers, in-charge, and local government representatives of the PPP from Karachi would attend the upcoming public meeting in large numbers.
He said that a recent judgment given by the Supreme Court had proven that Bhutto had been judicially murdered by the military dictator of that time out of his personal enmity.
The meeting decided that attendance in the upcoming public meeting by the PPP’s office-bearers and public representatives is necessary.
The meeting greeted PPP District Central President Masroor Ahsan on his nomination for contesting the upcoming elections for the Senate of Pakistan.
The meeting also prayed for the departed souls of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Murtaza Bhutto, Shahnawaz Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, and Nusrat Bhutto.
The meeting was attended by PPP Karachi Division General Secretary Jawed Nagori, Mirza Maqbool, Raja Razzaq, Aajiz Dhamrah, Najmi Alam, and other PPP office-bearers in Karachi.
