Karachi. Provincial Minister for Energy,
Development and Planning Sindh Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that 1320 MW
electricity will be added to the National Grid after the completion of the
first phase of the Tharcoal Block project. He expressed these views today in
the office of Sindh Energy Department.

Meng Donghai and CEO-SSRC Mr.Jain were present while Secretary of Energy
Department Sindh Kazim Jatoi and other senior officials of Energy Department
were also present.
Minister Energy said that the 2300 MW Tharcoal
Block One Power Generation Project will play an important role in meeting the
energy requirements.
Nasir Shah assured the delegation of immediate
removal of all ongoing obstacles in the project and full cooperation.
He said that the Sindh
government will provide all possible cooperation regards project so that the
project can be completed as soon as possible. Minister Energy directed the
delegation to take special care of the local people in the project and provide
them with all possible facilities.
He added that Tharcaol project is very
important for the whole country including Sindh.
Nasir Shah said that according to the vision
of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sindh government is focusing on public
welfare projects. Be it solarization or energy projects in Sindh province,
under the direction of Bilawal Bhutto, work is being done rapidly in all
sectors.
