Karachi Administration and Sindh Food Authority to ensure safe and hygienic food in Karachi.

Karachi. A meeting, presided
by Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi , was held at his office .Director
General Sindh Authority, Agha Fakhur
Hussain, all Deputy Commissioners of
Karachi division and other officers also attended the meeting. It was decided
in the meeting to take collaborative endeavors to elevate food standards in
Karachi.
Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan
Naqvi and DG SFA Agha Fakhar Hussain agreed upon
to ensure the delivery of hygienic
food to the residents of Karachi and to
enhan coordination among stakeholders.
It was further decided to pay surprise inspections, and penalties for
non-compliance and to establish a
technical team within the food authority to streamline coordination.
Furthermore, it was agreed upon to allocate office spaces within all Deputy Commissioner establishments for the Sindh Food Authority staff.
Speaking on the occasion, DG SFA Agha
Fakhar Hussain said that SFA was ensuring implementation of food safety rules
acroos the province in order to provide healthy food to the people of Sindh.
