These views were expressed by Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Livestock and Fisheries Syed Najmi Alam presiding over the 20-year program meeting. Provincial Minister of Education Syed Sardar Shah participated in the meeting as Sindh Farmers on a special invitation from Syed Najmi Alam. Syed Sardar Shah also gave tentative suggestions on this plan and promised to give his complete suggestions in writing to the Provincial Adviser. However, from January 2025, a livestock testing program is to be launched for the first time in Sindh and digitalization of livestock data as well as tagging system will also be implemented. During the briefing adviser was also told that under this plan, an advisory council at the provincial level and an advisory committee at the district level will be established. he added that all possible steps will be taken to save the local cow breed of Sindh, Lal cow and Theri cow breed. On this occasion, besides Private Farmer Syed Zarar Haider Shah, Delfa Farmer Haris Ali Mithani and Tahir Memon, Additional Secretary Technical Livestock Dr. Ali Akhtar Shahani, Director General Livestock Dr. Hizbullah Bhutto, Deputy Secretary Livestock Syed Owais Al Hasan, Director Marine Fisheries Dr. Asim Karim, Director Planning and Monitoring Dr. Mubarak Jatoi, Director Animal Husbandry Sindh Dr. Riaz Abbasi, Director Animal Breeding Dr. Zulfiqar Pathan, Director CVDL Dr. Azam Brohi, Director Farms Dr. Rahmatullah Sanjrani, Registrar Livestock Breeding Services Authority Dr. Abdullah Sithar, DIO Sindh Livestock Dr. Javed Memon and other officials attended. He said that this program will be conveyed to every union council of Sindh and we will take all the districts of Sindh and private farms and breeders together. He added that considering their suggestions, we will help them in every possible way, including ensuring that all facilities are provided to them so that the breeding process of animals of Sindh can continue at a fast pace.
