Karachi, Sindh Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah while giving good news to the people of Pakistan, especially Sindh, has said that 11.7 million cubic feet standard million cubic feet per day (MMCFD) gas production has been successfully discovered in Shahbandar district of Sajawal by Shahbandar Joint Venture and Energy department of Sindh is a big success this will help to overcome energy shortages and also save valuable foreign exchange. Syed Nasir Shah has said that 198 barrels of hydrocarbons will be obtained in liquid form along with huge amount of gas from the 2475 meter deep well in Shah Bandar. Minister Energy said that Sindh Energy Holding Company Limited (SEHCL), a company of the Sindh Department of Energy involved in the joint venture for this major discovery of gas and liquid, and the operator of this joint venture and the largest shareholder in this joint venture pakistan Petroleum Company Limited (PPL) and other companies including Government Holding Private Limited (GHPL) and Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) deserve congratulations. Syed Nasir Shah said that under the leadership of President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, Chairman Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah all the departments of the Sindh government are engaged in the struggle for the welfare of the people of the province and the economic development of the country and the discovery of such a huge amount of gas and liquid hydrocarbons from a gas well in Shah Bandar Sajawal is a great achievement of the Sindh government and this journey of development will now continue to move faster. on this occasion, Secretary Energy Department Sindh Mosaddeq Ahmad Khan and Chief Operating Officer Sindh Energy Holding Company Tufail Ahmad Khoso were also present.
