**Tharparkar, In a significant stride towards gender equality and women's empowerment, the European Union and UNIDO-funded PAIDAR Programme, implemented by TRDP, has organized a powerful 16-day campaign against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in the village of Male Ji Dhani, Tharparkar.
The campaign brought together a determined group of rural women, equipping them with the tools to take charge of their finances and shape a brighter future. During the event, a financial literacy session was conducted for potential microgrant beneficiaries, providing them with crucial insights into income management, saving, budgeting, business expansion, and the significance of self-reliance.
A standout highlight of the initiative was a session and group discussion centered on violence against women, emphasizing the paramount importance of safety and dignity for all individuals. The engaging dialogue aimed to raise awareness and foster a community committed to ending violence against women.
These workshops transcended mere training sessions, symbolizing a proactive step towards sustainable livelihoods, economic independence, and the overarching mission to eliminate GBV.
