Advancing Inclusion, Celebrating Diversity: UNFPA Marks International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Peshawar


Peshawar, December 4, 2024 – UNFPA, in collaboration with the Social Welfare, Special Education & Women Empowerment Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, celebrated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Peshawar. The event was graced by the presence of the Minister for Social Welfare, Syed Qasim Ali Shah, who reaffirmed the commitment to building an inclusive and equitable society for all.


The event featured various activities and discussions aimed at raising awareness about the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.
