Digri/Jhudo/Mirpurkhas Sindh Minister for Social Welfare, Mr. Mir Tariq Ali Talpur, dedicated a highly productive day to his constituency, engaging with residents and addressing their concerns.


According o a press release from the Talpur House Media Cell, Mr. Talpur met individuals from diverse walks of life who shared their issues. The minister took prompt action to resolve these concerns, reassuring the public of his unwavering commitment to their welfare.


Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Talpur affirmed that his doors remain open to the citizens, emphasizing that public service is his foremost priority. He outlined plans for an accelerated development strategy within his constituency and announced the upcoming launch of new development schemes aimed at improving the lives of PS-48 residents. He highlighted his dedication to the equitable provision of basic amenities and the creation of ample employment opportunities.


Underlining the vision of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Mr. Talpur stated that the Sindh government is operating under a comprehensive framework to address public challenges and foster sustainable development. He revealed that future initiatives by the Social Welfare Department will prioritize climate resilience and align with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Furthermore, he shared that new development schemes for Digri and Mirpurkhas district are in the pipeline, set to commence immediately after the next fiscal year. He directed officials to ensure the timely completion of ongoing projects in PS-48, warning that negligence would not be tolerated.


During the day, the provincial minister also extended his condolences to Tariq Mahmood Talpur, commonly known as Bhai Jan, in Tando Jan Muhammad on the demise of his mother, accompanied by Town Committee Chairman Mir Zulfiqar. In Jhudo, he attended the wedding reception of Mushtaq Mirarani’s sons. Additionally, he participated in the wedding celebrations of Ustad Tariq Nawaz, alias Lakha Dino Kunbhar’s sons, in the village of Saindad Alyani near Roshanabad. Later, he attended the wedding ceremony of Noor Hassan Khoso in Naukot at the invitation of Comrades Ali Bux Khoso and Mir Hassan Khoso.
