BRT Green Line and Peoples Bus Service Partially Suspended in Karachi for Muharram Processions
Due to security arrangements for Muharram processions in Karachi, the BRT Green Line service will be suspended for three days. The Peoples Bus Service will also face partial suspension.
According to the BRT Green Line spokesperson, the service will remain suspended on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of Muharram for security reasons. Normal operations will resume on the 11th of Muharram from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Bus Service spokesperson stated that on the 8th of Muharram, five routes passing through Numaish Chowrangi will be partially affected. On the 9th and 10th of Muharram, seven out of ten routes will be completely suspended. However, thirty routes, including those from Malir to Tower and Model Colony to Bahria Town, will continue to operate as usual.
