Karachi Sindh Minister for Energy, Development, and Planning, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, has said that the IEEEP Fair 2025, being organized by Badr Expo from 16th to 18th September 2025 at the Expo Centre Karachi, will serve as an excellent platform to showcase Pakistani products to the global market.
He expressed these views while addressing an introductory ceremony held at a local hotel in connection with the upcoming fair.

The event was attended by CEO of Badr Expo Solutions, Mr. Zohaib Naseer, Engineer Naveed Akram Ansari, Engineer Khalid, Mr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, the Deputy Consul General of Iran, Turkish Attaché, and prominent industrialists and traders.
Minister Nasir Shah stated that the exhibition, through its various local and international product stalls, will offer an ideal platform to highlight and promote Pakistani industries. The Sindh government fully supports such initiatives and platforms that contribute positively to national economic growth and stability.
He emphasized that there are ample opportunities in Pakistan to support and grow the national economy. Given global climate change and rising temperatures, the Sindh government is actively promoting green energy. In line with the vision and directives of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, efforts are underway to provide affordable electricity to the people of Sindh through various initiatives.
Currently, the country’s most affordable electricity is being generated from the Nooriabad Wind Power Project. In addition, solar park projects are also being developed to further lower electricity costs for the public. The exhibition will also offer an opportunity to introduce new products and innovations.
The minister added that three solar parks are presently under development, all aimed at providing cost-effective energy solutions. As in previous years, this year too, both local and international companies will be warmly welcomed to participate in the exhibition.
