Renowned singer Sanam Marvi has sent a legal notice of ₹50 million to Ahmed Shah, President of Arts Council Karachi and Jinnah Municipal Stadium Sukkur, accusing him of misconduct during a recent event.
Allegations in the Legal Notice:
Ahmed Shah allegedly stopped Sanam Marvi from going on stage due to her late arrival.
He reportedly used harsh language, physically pushed her, shouted threats, and verbally abused her.

Sanam Marvi’s Statement:
“Ahmed Shah punished me for being a Sindhi artist. Out of bias, he didn’t let me perform. My performance was scheduled before Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, yet Rahat was called on stage first.”
Ahmed Shah’s Response:
“Sanam Marvi was made to wait for two and a half hours. She didn’t arrive on time, so she wasn’t called to the stage.”
“She should act professionally. I will respond to the legal notice through proper legal channels.”
