Daachi Arts and Crafts Exhibition: A Celebration of Pakistan’s Cultural Heritage

Over 200 artisans from across Pakistan will once again bring their vibrant colors and timeless designs to life at the Daachi Arts and Crafts Exhibition, taking place on October 4 & 5, 2025, at Expo Center Hall No. 6, from 10 AM to 9 PM.
The Daachi Foundation, founded by Ayesha Noorani and a team of dedicated individuals, has been supporting craft communities since 2010. Through its flagship Daachi Arts and Crafts Exhibitions held in Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad, the foundation has provided consistent income and visibility to artisans, helping preserve ancestral skills.
This year’s exhibition will feature a stunning range of crafts: glazed and terracotta pottery, painted and carved woodwork, woven and embellished textiles, metalwork, rugs and kilims, basketry, folk toys, traditional silver and bead jewelry, and herbal and preserved fruit products from Hunza. Contemporary designers will also showcase innovative interpretations of traditional crafts, adding a modern touch to timeless patterns.
An art gallery and organic food prepared by home-based cooks will enrich the experience further. Struggling artisans and nonprofit organizations that support crafts are offered free stalls on a rotational basis, and the foundation continues to assist craft communities during crises, including the pandemic and natural disasters.
Looking ahead, Daachi plans to establish “Daachi Nagar,” a craft village that will offer training, income opportunities, and exposure to artisans nationwide.
The exhibition is open to all and promises a vibrant celebration of Pakistan’s rich craft heritage.
