Commissioner Sukkur Visits KSEZ; Reviews Progress, Shares Strategic Insights, and Congratulates Management on Global Achievement

Sukkur/ Khairpur Commissioner Sukkur Division Mr. Abid Saleem Qureshi, along with the Assistant Commissioner Khairpur, Assistant Mukhtiarkar Khairpur, and others accompanying officials, paid an official visit to the Khairpur Special Economic Zone (KSEZ) to review ongoing development initiatives and assess industrial operations within the zone.
The KSEZ management headed by Mohammad Ali Mahesar, Zone Operation Manager with his technical team delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining recent development progress, operational enhancements, achieved milestones, and the zone’s expanding industrial footprint. The delegation also toured key operational industrial units, including the pulp processing facility, the biotechnology unit, and the automated warehouse operations.
During the briefing, Commissioner Qureshi—drawing on his previous experience as Secretary Industries, Government of Balochistan—shared positive observations and offered professional insights relating to industrial promotion and outreach. His remarks highlighted the importance of continued collaboration and sustained growth for the region.
Commissioner Qureshi also congratulated the KSEZ team on securing the prestigious “Best Global Zone of the Year 2025” award, recently conferred by the Financial Times’ fDi Magazine, United Kingdom. He praised the management and staff for achieving this significant international recognition and acknowledged their efforts in maintaining an investor-friendly and development-driven environment.
The visit concluded with a formal note of thanks, appreciating the dedication, professionalism, and collective contributions of the entire KSEZ team in strengthening the zone’s development and global standing.
