According to a press release received by Hum News, the Pakistan Coast Guards achieved significant success during snap-checks at various road checkpoints in Balochistan over the past month. During these operations, 43.8 kg of Hashish, 8 kg of Opium, and 26 kg of Silver were recovered.

(Global Value & Legal Action): According to the spokesperson for the Pakistan Coast Guards, the seized narcotics are valued at approximately $33.13 million (nearly 9.5 billion PKR) in the international market. Coast Guard officials have taken custody of the contraband and initiated legal proceedings.

The spokesperson further stated that the Pakistan Coast Guards remain alert around the clock to curb the menace of drugs and the smuggling of all illegal goods. No leniency will be shown to those attempting to sabotage the national economy.
