“Stray Dog Attack at Lahore’s Jinnah Garden: Conflicting Claims Over Deer Deaths”


Lahore: Six deer were reportedly killed after being attacked by stray dogs at on the night of February 19.

According to initial reports, stray dogs attacked the deer inside the park. However, the Director of Jinnah Garden, Lahore stated that the incident is under review and claimed that no deer had died. He added that four deer were injured and were shifted to a private farmhouse for treatment.

The Director further said that the public would be informed after the medical reports are received.

Meanwhile, the park administration confirmed that the post-mortem examinations of the deer were conducted at . Officials said the post-mortem report will be issued tomorrow.

The administration of (PHA) and Jinnah Garden has been informed about the post-mortem findings by the veterinary hospital authorities.

Veterinary hospital officials said that the dead bodies of the deer have not yet been handed over to the park administration, but they will be transferred to the authorities today.
