KARACHI: 8th Muharram Procession by Sadat-e-Amroha Concludes Peacefully

In observance of the 8th of Muharram, the traditional mourning procession organized by Sadat-e-Amroha was taken out from Imambargah Shah-e-Khurasan in Karachi, culminating peacefully at Imambargah Hussainian Iranian in Kharadar. Prior to the procession, a central majlis was held at Nishtar Park where Allama Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi addressed the mourners, highlighting the virtues and supreme sacrifices of the martyrs of Karbala.

A unique and revered feature of this procession is the Alam (standard) heavily adorned with fresh flowers. The procession marched through its designated routes, including Empress Market, Regal Chowk, and Civil Hospital, before reaching Imambargah Bara Imam on Napier Road to offer fresh flowers on the Alam. Following this ritual, the mourners proceeded via M.A. Jinnah Road and reached Hussainian Iranian Imambargah, where the procession officially concluded.
