A fierce exchange of fire broke out between police and dangerous criminals in Umar Brohi Goth, located in Gulshan-e-Maymar, Karachi.
According to the Special Investigation Unit, the suspects were previously arrested for their involvement in the tragic murder of Dr. Akash during a robbery in Clifton.
When police conducted a raid based on the suspects' identification to arrest their remaining accomplices, the armed associates opened indiscriminate fire on the police party.
During the intense gun battle that followed, all three detained suspects were killed, while a police officer sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
Law enforcement authorities confirmed that the deceased suspects belonged to the Odh community, and further investigations are currently underway to trace the escaped criminals.
