All Sindh primary teachers gathered outside the Press Club in Karachi.


As the protestors entered the red zone to go to the Chief Minister's House, the police swung into action.

The policemen charged the protesters with batons and also sprayed water with water cannons.

Police arrested two protesters.

Primary teachers once again gathered outside the press club.

The protesters say that in 2014, they were recruited as primary teachers in grade nine.

In the year 2021, the upgrade policy came, under which primary teachers were upgraded to grade fourteen.

In 2014, new teachers were recruited in grade 14, but they are not being upgraded.
