A separate petition filed in the Lahore High Court by a local lawyer has taken the position that the Election Commission is violating the constitution and court orders.
The Election Commission has issued a press release to hold the elections in the last week of January, the petition has requested. It is clear in the constitution that the election should be held in 90 days, the court should order to suspend the initiative
