leader of the People's Party, announced that President Asif Ali Zardari has
secured a resounding majority. With Pakistan embodying the dream and vision of
Asif Ali Zardari, it is now set to progress towards its realization, marking
the commencement of a journey towards development and unity in the country.
Speaking to the media at
the Sindh Assembly, Sharjeel Inam Memon, the leader of the People's Party,
affirmed that democracy, the Eighteenth Amendment, the Constitution, and the
Parliament of Pakistan will be safeguarded. He regarded this as good news, particularly
for those who faced defeat in the presidential elections. Memon expressed
optimism, stating that the election of a mature personality as the President of
Pakistan is a positive development, and, Inshallah, Pakistan will thrive with
this optimistic outlook.
He mentioned that when
Asif Ali Zardari assumed the presidency, he implemented historic changes.
Despite the persistent tug-of-war among powerful entities in Pakistan,
President Asif Ali Zardari, on the contrary, effectively carried out his
responsibilities. Notably, powers were transferred to Parliament, contributing
to the strengthening of the parliamentary institution.
He highlighted that the
CPEC project, the Balochistan Huqooq program, the NFC award, and the
acknowledgment of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were historic achievements of Asif Ali
Zardari. These milestones, he emphasized, will be eternally remembered in the
annals of history.

conveyed that Asif Ali Zardari is poised to play a pivotal role in fostering
unity among all four provinces, consolidating political forces, and mitigating
the polarization initiated by PTI. Memon emphasized Zardari's crucial role in uniting

"king of reconciliation."
He expressed the
imperative to cease the politics of hatred and accusations, highlighting that
President Asif Ali Zardari will play a crucial role in bringing about this
change.
He remarked that the
nomination of Mahmood Khan Achakzai, who spoke against the country's
institutions in the assembly, as president reflects the mentality of PTI.
Sharjeel Inam Memon
stated that PTI tends to favor individuals who speak against the country, and
they seem unwilling to align with those who prioritize uniting the nation.
He asserted that Mehmood
Achakzai should provide answers regarding the conduct of the 2018 elections,
highlighting that he is nominated by parties who were involve in rigging.
