Justice (Retd) Tasadeq Jilani's letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif

Justice (Retd) Tasdeq Jilani said that it would be appropriate for the Chief Justice to decide this issue at the institution level.

I am grateful to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet for trusting me.

I am also grateful to Chief Justice and Justice Mansoor Ali Shah for trusting me.

A one-member inquiry commission was appointed to investigate the letter.

This letter is addressed to the members of the Supreme Judicial Council.

The letter in question does not fall within the parameters of Article 209,

The Commission's TORs are not relevant to the case.

The judges had referred to institutional consultation in the letter.

The Supreme Court Judicial Council itself is a constitutional body,

It would be a breach of jurisdiction for me to inquire into the matter.
