Syed Najmi Alam announce to bring modern facilities project for fishermen
Karachi Advisor to CM on Fisheries Livestock and Human Settlement Syed Najmi Alam visited Korangi Fish Harbour and chaired a meeting at Korangi Fish Harbor.
On this occasion, a full briefing was taken from the senior officers and the strategy for solving all the problems was reviewed. Syed Najmi Alami expressed his satisfaction at the briefing and expressed his determination to further develop Korangi Fish Harbour. Syed Najmi Alam said that Karachi Fish Harbor was built for 500 boats but now 5000 boats come here for fishing.
In this regard, the federal government has been contacted to reduce the pressure on Karachi Fish Harbor and further discussions are ongoing.
He added that he had met CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah last week and requested to solve the proposed problem as soon as possible. Adviser Syed Najmi Alam thoroughly reviewed all the problems faced by the fishermen and management at Korangi Fish Harbor and assured to solve all the problems as soon as possible.
