Awami Tehreek Strongly Condemns the Dangerous Agenda to Repatriate Biharis
*Sindh is Not a Refuge for Foreigners in the Name of Islam or Pakistan!*
Sukkur,
Awami Tehreek central leadership including President Advocate Wasand Thari, Senior Vice President Noor Ahmed Katiyaar, General Secretary Advocate Sajjid Mahesar categorically and forcefully condemns the recent irresponsible and provocative statements made by foreign officials, including Bangladesh's Foreign Secretary Jasimuddin, regarding the return and resettlement of over 324,000 so-called “Pakistanis” currently residing in Bangladesh. These individuals, widely known as Biharis, are not innocent refugees—they are documented traitors who betrayed their homeland during the 1970 liberation war and were complicit in crimes against humanity. Their attempts to seek refuge in Sindh under the guise of religion, national identity, or humanitarian concerns are not only deceitful but outright dangerous.
We declare it loud and clear: Sindh is not a dumping ground for international criminals and ideological terrorists. These foreign elements have no roots, no connection, and no right to settle in the sacred land of Sindh. The people of Sindh have consistently rejected this sinister plot—from General Zia’s dictatorship to Hamid Gul’s conspiracies, and from past military regimes to puppet democratic governments. Today, we reject it again with the same unwavering resolve.
This so-called agenda of “repatriation” is nothing but a calculated attempt to divert the attention of the people from the real socio-economic and political crises gripping both Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is an attempt to destabilize Sindh socially and demographically, to weaken its cultural identity, and to encroach upon its resources and sovereignty.
We recall with pride the historic resistance led by Rasool Bux Palijo and other nationalist leaders who confronted the state's sinister designs head-on. Palijo Sahib’s fearless speech at the Lahore Frontier Post conference, in front of DG ISI General Hamid Gul, stands as a guiding light for every Sindhi who believes in justice, truth, and self-determination.
Today, once again, we warn the state and all its apparatus:
Not a single outsider will be allowed to be imposed on Sindh!
The land, jobs, and resources of Sindh belong to its native sons and daughters!
We urge every political worker, every conscious citizen, every youth of Sindh to stay alert, organize, and raise their voice against this attempt to settle foreign elements on our soil. We also challenge the ruling elites: If this is a humanitarian act, let these “loyal Pakistanis” be settled in Punjab, Balochistan, or Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. But you will never dare—because even you know they are unwanted and dangerous!
Awami Tehreek stands firm, ready to lead the resistance once again. Let it be known—we will not allow Sindh’s demographic, cultural, and political fabric to be torn apart for anyone’s geopolitical experiments.
Sindh belongs to the Sindhi people. No compromises. No surrender.
Sindh is not a shelter for traitors. Sindh is not for sale.
Awami Tehreek – Voice of Sindh’s Soil and People
