British Delegation Explores Investment Prospects in Sindh, Meets Energy Minister Nasir Shah

Karachi– A high-level delegation from the British High Commission, led by Head of Development Ms. Jo Moir, met with Sindh’s Minister of Energy, Development, and Planning, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, at Ali House, Karachi. The meeting focused on investment opportunities across multiple sectors, including energy, agriculture, and development
During discussions, Minister Nasir Shah highlighted Sindh’s rich potential for domestic and foreign investors, emphasizing that the province offers a secure and profitable environment for investment. He credited the vision of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and the Sindh Government’s investor-friendly policies for fostering a climate where local and international investors can operate confidently.
Praising the progressive investment climate, the British delegation commended the Sindh Government’s proactive approach, noting that foreign investors value security and profitability when entering new markets. They lauded Sindh’s commitment to economic development and its strategic initiatives to attract global investment.
Minister Nasir Shah reiterated Sindh’s willingness to facilitate British investors in energy, agriculture, and infrastructure projects, ensuring maximum cooperation and incentives. The delegation included Senior Political Advisor to the Program and Noam Rosenbaum, Second Secretary at the British Deputy High Commission in Karachi. In a gesture of cultural appreciation, Nasir Shah presented traditional Sindhi gifts to the visiting dignitaries.
