"Karachi Super Highway Tragedy: 13 Dead in Oil Tanker Collision"

Karachi A devastating traffic accident occurred near DHA City on the Karachi Super Highway when an oil tanker overturned onto a passenger van.
The collision also involved a passenger bus and three other vehicles, leaving 13 people dead and several others injured.
Rescue teams and police rushed to the scene to assist victims and control the situation. According to Additional IG Motorway Police South Region, Munir Ahmed Sheikh, the tanker was traveling from Hyderabad to Karachi, while the passenger van was en route from Karachi to Hyderabad. He stated that some vehicles traveling on the wrong side of the highway likely caused the accident, possibly after refueling and re-entering the track in the wrong direction.
SSP Malir, Dr. Abdul Khaliq Pirzada, told media that fuel spilled from the tanker onto the road, making the rescue operation extremely hazardous and requiring utmost caution.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has ordered an immediate inquiry into the causes of the accident and directed authorities to submit a detailed report.
