Another major success in the ongoing Nijat Mehran operation in Sindh’s riverine areas. Proclaimed offender and notorious dacoit Amir Bakhsh alias Amiro Khokharani, wanted in more than 24 cases, has been arrested.
According to the Sindh Police spokesperson, Larkana Police apprehended the fugitive during the operation. The dacoit Amir Bakhsh alias Amiro Khokharani was wanted in cases of murder, robbery, looting, and other serious crimes. The joint operation in the riverine belt is being led by DIG Larkana and Sukkur, Nasir Aftab. Personnel from Larkana and Sukkur range police, the federal civil intelligence agency, and Sindh Rangers are participating in the Nijat Mehran operation. Authorities have stated that the operation will continue until complete restoration of law and order.
