Sindh Budget for FY 2026-27 to be Presented Today

The Sindh government is set to present the provincial budget for the fiscal year 2026-27 in the Sindh Assembly today at 2:00 PM. According to Finance Department sources, the upcoming budget's total volume is expected to be smaller than last year's Rs 3.4 trillion. A 15 to 20 percent cut in the overall development budget is proposed. However, development schemes for Karachi, along with the health, education, and interior departments, are recommended to be exempted from these budget cuts.
