NDMA issues severe weather alert across Pakistan

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a severe weather alert for the next 12 to 24 hours across Pakistan. Thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds are expected in major regions of Punjab, Sindh (including Karachi), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. Furthermore, the NDMA has issued a critical GLOF (Glacial Lake Outburst Flood) alert for Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Kashmir. All provincial and district disaster management authorities have been directed to remain on high alert to handle any emergency situations.
