More public complaints against government departments resolved under the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh

January (Karachi) More public complaints against government departments have been resolved under the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh. According to the details, Najeebullah, a resident of Taluka New Naqvi, District Khairpur, filed a complaint with the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh that he had purchased more than 1.12 acres of agricultural land, but since 2019, the land entry has not been made by the concerned tapidar. Therefore, the case was sent to the Mukhtiarkar Revenue Khairpur by the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, who said in his report that the said land is in the names of several people, some of whom sold their respective shares of land, while the complainant himself has also sold his land. Expressing dissatisfaction with the report, the complainant again contacted the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh office and requested action against the concerned tapidar. Later, after several hearings, the said land was recorded in the revenue record under survey number 12-1/571.
On the other hand, the issue of issuance of PRC domicile of Fahad Ahmed, a resident of Ittehad Town, Karachi, was also resolved. The petitioner had taken the stand that he had obtained his education from the Higher Secondary Education Board, Karachi, while his parents and the complainant himself have their identity cards at the current residential address, however, the Deputy Commissioner Keamari Office is denying the issuance of his domicile and PRC. The Provincial Ombudsman Sindh first sent a notice to DC Keamari on the petitioner’s complaint, to which no response was received from the DC Keamari Office, after which reminders and summons were also issued. Despite this, bailable warrants were issued against DC Keamari due to his non-appearance. Later, a letter was received by the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh from DC Keamari along with the domicile and PRC stating that due to the strict scrutiny of the complainant, there was a delay in issuing the domicile and PRC, which has now been issued, so the case should be disposed of and in future, it will be ensure that there is no delay in government and court orders. The complainant confirmed in writing to the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh that he had received the domicile and PRC and expressed his gratitude.
Likewise, Tariq Ali, a resident of Manjhand District Jamshoro, had filed a complaint that the building of Rural Health Center Unarpur is still incomplete after the approval by the Jamshoro District Government in 2014, while the concerned authorities are also not conducting any hearing.
After the notice from the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh office, XEN Buildings Jamshoro and DHO Jamshoro informed that the said scheme was stalled due to lack of funds, but that has been completed later. Therefore, on the orders of the Provincial Ombudsman, the investigation officer visited and inspected the said building along with the concerned authorities and submitted a report to the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh that the said building has been completed and under the supervision of the Medical Officer of PPHI, free medicines, vaccination of children, gynecology ward, ultrasound and 24-hour ambulance facilities are being provided to the patients there.
