Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar took notice of the incident. A report has been sought from SSP Khairpur. The Sindh Home Minister said that the investigation should be made effective and successful by securing the crime scene and making available evidence,
the investigation should be taken forward by taking the officials and members of the Press Club into confidence, and the steps taken regarding the progress of the investigation and the arrest of the accused should be kept informed
