Karachi: Woman Found Chained in Defence Phase V Apartment, Rescued by Police

Police in Karachi's Defence Phase V area rescued a woman who was found chained inside an apartment. The incident came to light following a tip-off received via the Madadgar 15 helpline.
According to police officials, a team responded to the call and reached a residential building in Defence Phase V. Upon breaking into a third-floor apartment, they discovered a woman bound in chains inside a room. She was freed after the chains were cut.
Police stated that the victim is a resident of Sheerin Jinnah Colony. Her ex-husband had allegedly lured her to the apartment under the pretense of discussing child expenses. He then chained her and fled the scene.
Raids are being conducted to arrest the suspect, police added.
